Forecasting Grain Production and Static Capacity of Warehouses Using the Natural Neighbor and Multiquadric Equations

The strategic logistics of agricultural production and storage aggregates information related to storage. In this sense, time, location, distance from producer consumer markets are considered, emphasizing the importance grain logistics. Natural Neighbor multiquadric equation spatial interpolation methods used predict these variables value at non-sampled locations, for asymmetric categorical data, respectively. This study investigated prediction (tons) (soybean, first crop corn, second-crop wheat) in 2016/2017 growing season qualitative data on static capacity warehouses 2017/2018 season. result obtained through using natural neighbor method was coherent, as it showed high variability relative different meso-regions. Therefore, appropriate because allowed predicting behavior state Paraná-Brazil, making possible identify regions higher or lower production. equations identifying a predominance units with low warehouses, but also enabled detection that varied medium category Paraná, Brazil.
